GH Lab Experience by Carlos Peraita+Atril
This is not a pop-up; it’s an immersive dive into the backstage of cosmetic creation. With its latest experiential design, Carlos Peraita and Atril collaborate in an activation for GH inviting visitors into a space designed not merely to display, but to reveal. Inspired by the aesthetics and processes of a laboratory, the installation offers an honest and transparent introduction to the brand, shaped by a spirit of innovation and experimentation.
The architecture is defined by a composition of vertical planes-the grid wall, the light box and the curved mirrors. These layered elements, constructed in varying degrees of transparency and reflectivity, create an interplay of light and shadow, relfection and transparency that challenge the sense of orientation.
Visitors first encounter the space via a gentle sloped entrance that introduces them to a tactile journey of materials and finishes. Adding to the atmospheric quality are self-illuminated polycarbonate blocks, layered to produce a cloud-like diffusion of neon light.
The activation unfolds through clearly defined, yet fully interconnected zones, including a networking area, interactive product stations, and a workshop space where guests can explore the intricate processes behind cosmetic formulation. Matte shelving elements set a rhythmic tone, counterbalanced by curved mirrored partitions that soften the geometry and reflect the activity within.
Custom carbon steel furniture brings an industrial reference to the installation, contrasting with its refined finishes. These bespoke pieces—including illuminated shelving units—serve dual roles of display and lighting.
Transcending the typical exhibition agenda, the activation becomes a platform for interaction, discovery, and immersion.
