Positioned between California’s Mediterranean heritage and the austerenostalgia of bunker typologies, the project brings contrasting formallanguages into dialogue, sustaining a tension between curiosity andreach. Moments of compression and release unfold throughout thehouse, linked by curved geometries that guide movement and shape thespatial experience, using travertine, white oak and roman clay.
